Description

The SPHARM shape analysis toolset has been designed to compute statistical shape group differences of brain structures. A detailed description is in the followin Insight Journal article: http://insight-journal.org/dspace/handle/1926/215
An updated pdf version of the document is part of the distribution

History

Version
Update
1.6
New GUI front end for running shape analysis. The GUI creates and runs a BatchMake script (BatchMake included in distribution).
1.5
Support for doing univariate analysis by projection of distance to the mean surface to its surface normal (= surface normal component of signed distance to overall mean)
1.4
Bug fixes, MeshMath + KWMeshVisu additional options, such as averaging of surfaces. BatchMake compatible modules.
1.3
Bug fixes and additions of several utilities to distribution. Slicer v3 compatible modules for KWMMeshVisu, GenParaMesh, SegPostProcess, ParaToSPHARMMesh and StatNonParamPDM.
1.2
Optional parametrization flipping added (SPHARM computation), default para bug eliminated (initial parametrization was flipped if first order ellipsoid axis did not represent a right hand coordinate system), Procrustes alignment bug corrected (only affected when normalization is off). This version can lead to inconsistencies when used with V1.1, please rerun ParaToSPHARMMesh.
1.1
Procrustes alignment corrected (prior version centered the data), KWMeshVisu enhanced and minor bugs in SegPostProcess eliminated
1.0
First major release
