This tutorial explains how to use the DofView program to visualize deformation field

Requirements

You can download the DofView program in our download section

Overview

   1. Load your dof file by clicking on the following button

   2. Click on the '...' button and select your file

   3. If you load a .mhd or .mha file, informations should be correct. You don't need to edit informations in this case.
You can click on "Ok" after checking that file sizes are correct!

   4. Dof field should be now loaded and you can display it by clicking on the "Show DOF" button.
Note: If you have loaded a 2D dof, you can only choose DirZ for the view.

After computation you will see the deformation field in the 3D window:

   5. You can make a screeshot by clicking on the following button:

   6. You can also compute output images, like Jacobian, Divergence and Norme file by clicking on the corresponding buttons:

The jacobian shows the growth and the shrink of your image. If there is no change, value is 30000.

The divergence is the trace of the Jacobi matrix and show differences within the deformation field

For the norme, the program will compute the distance of the vector for each voxel. You need to specify a minimum and maximum value for this distance.
